We are over the moon to have Won the national Guardian Charity Awards 2016.The Guardian Charity Awards offer a unique platform to celebrate the success of small and medium-sized charities working to improve social wellbeing. For 24 years, they have showcased their work and given winners the backing and profile they need to move forward. New Outdoor Shelter

8th October 2016

Thanks to some generous funding, we now have an outdoor shelter on the Centre grounds. So even when the Centre is closed, there is a place to keep out of the cold and rain this winter!

Our Groups

Open Access

Open Access is a drop-in for anyone aged over 16 who needs support or advice with housing, benefits, health issues or probation. We also have a dedicated Education, Training and Employment Worker who can help you find work.

Youth Work: 4-7s

On Monday, from 3.30pm till 6pm, we offer sessions for young people from the age of four. The sessions are an opportunity for young people to socialize in a safe environment, whilst also exploring themselves and the world around them. Through informal education and issue based sessions, we cover a range of topics. A lot of the work we currently do is prevention work and empowering young people to make informed decisions and choices about their lives, offering bespoke advice and support for each young person who comes to us. Activities include cooking, sports and arts and crafts.

Friday Coffee and cake 1.30-3.00pm

Women of all ages welcome to join us for great cake, conversation and choice of activity if you wish. A good place to make new friends and share interests.

Lancaster and Morecambe Asylum and Refugee Support

This project works with newly arrived asylum seekers and refugees in the district. Please see our project website for more information: http://lmars.org.uk.

Council Housing Tenant Drop-In

Once a month, Lancaster City Council staff will be at the Centre from 10am to 12pm to answer your questions or concerns about Council Housing related issues.

Cook For Your Community

Every Wednesday from 3pm to 6pm, we invite people to come and cook a meal for 15-20 people. We provide the ingredients, you cook and then people pay £2 to either eat in or take a meal home. Come along and get to know your community!
